We all have bad days ? but it's hard to beat someone who won't give up.? And that applies to all of us: from weekend warriors to age-groupers to the pros. Kelsey is going to make it to Kona - and with her mindset, she's going to go far. ?? Thanks to @kelsey_withrow for inspiring us to keep trying. ? #Repost @kelsey_withrow • • • • • • I am learning that Ironman can be brutal and it can be the best thing in the world. Yesterday’s race at Ironman Cairns -Asia Pacific Championships was brutal. I got sick in the swim, crashed, had a few mechanicals on the bike and the legs were just not there. The run was painful from the start. It’s a good thing my mind is a lot tougher than my body and I was able to finish 6th. Again probably missing a Kona spot by 1 but that’s the game. Going to rest a bit then find another Ironman to try and qualify there. Photo by @witsupcom
